Playgrounds

For the past 10 years, the primary focus of all we've seen and heard about playgrounds has been safety. While playground safety issues are indeed very important, there needs to be equal importance placed on quality playground programs to ensure the best physical and social development for children. Because of the wave of legal issues that stifled the development of quality urban playground programs, it became very easy for agencies to get out of the business of playground programming and supervision.
